Who we are

Planning is a product by Lionbeauly. For any questions about this privacy policy or your data, reach out to hallo@planning.app.

What data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password (stored encrypted, we never see it in readable form), and optionally a profile photo, department, date of birth, or start date.
• Usage data: the projects, tasks, comments, and messages you create yourself within your workspace.
• Payment data: processed and stored by Stripe, not by us. We only see whether a subscription is active and which plan.
• Technical data: IP address and basic logs for security and troubleshooting, and a small preference file (theme: light/dark) in your own browser storage.

What we use it for

To make Planning work the way you expect: signing you in, showing your workspace, storing tasks and messages, handling your billing, and helping you when you contact us. If you separately opt in, we also use your email address for product updates.

Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We do work with a number of specialized providers necessary to run Planning:

• Supabase — database and authentication, the core of where your data lives.
• Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
• Resend — sending transactional email (for example a welcome email).
• Klaviyo — only if you indicated you want to receive product updates.
• Vercel — hosting the application.
• Zoom, Google (Meet, Calendar, Drive), and Microsoft (Teams) — only if you or your workspace admin activates an integration with one of these services yourself, for the meeting and file integrations.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Pinterest — only if you consent to advertising cookies on our website, see the Cookies section below. Only measures page views, we never share your name or email address.
• Google Analytics — also only after your consent, both on our website and within the logged-in tool, so we understand which features are used. No name or email address here either, only page views and events.
• GoAffPro — our affiliate program, also only after consent. If you came in through an affiliate link and sign up, GoAffPro shares your email address and first name so the right affiliate gets the commission.

Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies. Necessary cookies (your session, and your light/dark theme preference) are always on, no consent needed, Planning simply doesn't work without them. Analytics, advertising, and affiliate cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, the Pinterest Tag, and GoAffPro) are off by default and only set once you explicitly consent via the cookie banner, which appears on your first visit and when logging into the tool. You can revisit your choice at any time by clearing this website's site data in your browser, after which the banner appears again.

How long we keep data

As long as your account or workspace is active. If you cancel your subscription, we keep your data for a reasonable period in case you come back, then delete it. Want to be deleted sooner and completely? Email us.

Security

Access to data is restricted per workspace at the database level (Row Level Security), not just in the interface. Traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are never stored in readable form.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data, and you can object to its use for marketing. Email us at hallo@planning.app to exercise any of these rights. If you disagree with how we handle your request, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

We may update this policy as our service changes. The date at the top of this page shows when that last happened.
